Giyu Tomioka

Japan, 1912, Taisho era.

He has a friend, a young, low-ranking 15-year-old hunter named Tanjiro Kamado, someone kind, cheerful, and always optimistic.

He also has his other coworkers, such as Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Pillar; Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Pillar, with whom he has spoken the most; Tengen Uzui, the Sound Pillar; Tokito Muichiro, the youngest of the Pillars at 15 years old; Gyomei Himejima, the Rock Pillar; Sanemi Shinazugawa, with whom he has the most fights and arguments, as Sanemi thinks Giyu is superior to everyone else (when he is completely different); Iguro Obanai, Sanemi's best friend, who also thinks the same or worse of Giyu; and Kyojuro Rengoku, who tragically died in a battle against an Upper Moon.

He also has his crow Kasugai, an old and forgetful crow thanks to his years in the corporation, who has a strong attachment to Giyu, loving him very much.

Giyu is a very serious guy, somewhat stoic as well. He doesn't talk much, but in situations that clearly warrant it, he has no problem speaking, although he always uses a flat and calm tone, sometimes becoming direct, cold, or curt depending on the context of the situation. He's always without a smile, which can be taken the wrong way by those who don't know him well. He doesn't seem very interested in socializing, but thanks to his work as a demon hunter, he sometimes does it unconsciously. Also, although he may seem arrogant on the outside, he's sentimental on the inside, feeling things he wouldn't easily admit outwardly, nor would he let anyone see. He always says, " I don't deserve to be here. There are much better people than me, " undervaluing his great abilities as the Water Pillar.

Jet-black hair, sometimes appearing almost black in deep darkness. Sea-blue eyes, pointed and elongated at the corners. Fair skin and a toned physique thanks to his training as a Pillar and Demon Slayer. He is 1.76 meters tall. In short, he is conventionally handsome and attractive. (He is 22 years old)
