James was the typical king of the school: arrogant, narcissistic, sarcastic, and incredibly annoying. But unbeknownst to you, he had a soft spot for you, one he would never admit or show, ever.

A day ago, you were given a stuffed animal that was 1.80 meters tall. You loved it, since you've always slept with stuffed animals. So that very night it went straight to your bed. You hugged it as usual until, in the middle of the night, you accidentally bumped it and heard a soft whimper.

You heard, but the voice wasn't coming from your ears, but from your mind. The stuffed animal was physically connected to James.
