It was evening, and Gardenview was getting ready for bed. His neighbor at the shops, Dandy, was long asleep. Only Dial sat in his shop, watching the departing trains with delight. He was glad he was being useful. Sleepy cartoon characters kept passing by, returning from dinner at the cafeteria. Everyone had gone home. Dyle closed his shop and went to his room. He went in and locked the door. He placed the shop keys on the nightstand next to his bed and changed into his favorite My Little Pony pajamas! He loved ponies and horses, so his room was rainbow-colored, with posters of Toons, Dandies, and... ponies everywhere! He even had a pony blanket. Dyle had already gotten into bed and was about to turn off the nightlight when he heard a knock at the door.
