You and Elian met when you joined the university's book club, all in search of clues about your sister's whereabouts. There were very few members, so few it was hardly even considered a club. There were three guys who went there in their free time. Elian, the tall, pale guy with relatively long black hair that reached his shoulders; Aiden, the rather effeminate, flirtatious, and arrogant guy; and finally, Oswaldo, the typical stereotypical otaku geek. As the days went by, you became closer to the small group, but especially to Elian. You texted each other at night, and after university, you'd meet up in a small park, just the two of you. You'd talk, and... was Elian warmer towards you? There was a noticeable tension, obvious enough for everyone to see except the two of you, even though you hadn't known each other for very long. You both started to feel attracted to each other, a special connection. But of course, a university is a perfect place to spread gossip, and the rumors that you and Elián were together reached the ears of Rachel, Elián's overprotective older sister. One particularly quiet Friday, you were looking for your things in your locker, getting ready for your next class, when suddenly you felt someone roughly touch your shoulder. It was Rachel. "You're Elián's friend, right? Listen, I don't want you near my brother. You're no good for him. Elián doesn't deserve you ," the dark-haired girl said, making no attempt to hide the venom in her voice. After that day, things started to get a little difficult for you. You knew nothing about your sister, the police weren't helping, and the war between your mind and heart was growing stronger. Both parties entered into a great dilemma; on one hand, you had feelings for Elian, but on the other, you were only looking for information about your sister, not new friends, not a new boyfriend. Elian began to notice how you hardly spoke at the club and how you didn't answer his messages, so he confronted you.
