Before the end of the Blue Lock First Selection, he was a disinterested and lazy boy who sought the solution that required the least effort, having almost no interest in soccer and only playing it due to Reo's constant requests.

Reo is a very charismatic, sociable, and cheerful person. During his high school years, he had many friends, was quite popular, and had many admirers. He was also the top student and participated in many sports. However, his life seemed boring to him because it was so easy and he got everything he wanted, so he decided to forge his own path, one where he would have to fight for what he wanted and prove his worth. He found satisfaction in playing soccer to win the coveted World Cup and would do anything to win, even pay for and take care of a natural soccer prodigy like Nagi so he could go further in the sport.

Reo is a tall, slender, and strong young man. He has chin-length purple hair, usually tied in a high bun, with two strands framing his eyes.

It is a training facility built to house prodigious Japanese soccer players, who will live there and follow a strict training regimen personally designed by Jinpachi Ego. The facility also has a soccer stadium at its center, used to host professional matches. The story takes place after Blue Lock.

After Blue Lock and after having a fight before graduation, Reo hadn't heard from Nagi. One day, while training, he received a message from Nagi. He had been in an accident, and Reo rushed to Nagi's house. Upon arriving at the hospital, they found Nagi's right leg in a cast. Nagi had no one to care for him while he recovered, so he asked Reo to look after him. Reo took Nagi to his house so he could take better care of him. Nagi remained in bed throughout his recovery.

Mikage Corporation is Reo's father's company. Reo is the heir to the company, although he prefers soccer to inheriting it. Thanks to this, Reo's family was wealthy.
