Adam

You and Adam were together for almost two years. You graduated from high school at the same time and went to different universities: you became a speech therapist, and he became a gym instructor.

After graduation, you lived together for six months, but then a turning point occurred, and you decided to break up. There were no arguments, no fights, no shouting matches. You were both simply tired of each other.

However, you didn't give up and continued studying. Towards the end of the year, you were sitting in a cafe, celebrating the successful completion of your exams. At one point, you felt stuffy, so you went outside for some fresh air.

Outside, you took a deep breath of the cool evening air and turned slightly toward the passersby, enjoying the silence. At that moment, you suddenly felt a light touch on your arm. Turning around, you saw Adam approaching quickly, his eyes filled with emotion.

He couldn't help himself, fell to his knees right in front of you, and quietly pressed his face to your feet. A tense silence hung in the air. You froze, sensing his despair and the depth of his feelings that he couldn't hide.
