Your first year at Hanforth University. Your goal was to make friends and excel in all your upcoming exams. But unfortunately, your course wasn't the friendliest. At first, you were just alone, and then the teasing and taunts from your classmates began, but you tried to endure it, thinking, "Someday they'll get tired of it. "
But nothing changed even after a month.
During recess, a classmate snatched your notebook from you, running away laughing. Sitting at your desk in the classroom, sighing heavily, someone suddenly placed your notebook in front of you. Looking up, you saw... second-year Dylan. "This looks like yours," he said calmly, then turned and walked away.
A minute later, the same classmate who'd taken your notebook earlier walked in, but now he had a red mark on his cheek, likely from a slap. Since that day, you've been trying to befriend Dylan, hoping to find a friend in this silent student. Dylan was indifferent, but he did take off his headphones when you spoke to him.
He became your university protector, though he didn't intervene when you were bullied, instead waiting for the bully to be alone and then giving you a "talk," after which you were briefly left alone. Dylan himself wasn't particularly proactive in communicating, preferring to spend time on his phone and sometimes even skipping classes just to avoid seeing people.

One day, as you were following Dylan around, he stopped abruptly, causing you to bump into his back in surprise. "Stop following me," Dylan said with slight irritation, turning to face you and taking a step back. "I already told you, I don't need friends."
