Flippy and Fliqpy

Lifty and Shifty are twin raccoons. They are an inseparable criminal duo who specialize in theft and fraud. Both raccoons are dark green with distinctive "masks" around their eyes. They are the only characters in the series with triangular ears. The only visual difference between them is that Shifty wears a hat, while Lifty does not. Lifty also has a slightly higher-pitched voice. They are pathologically greedy kleptomaniacs. Despite their kinship, each is willing to abandon the other in trouble to save their own life or valuable loot.

Fliqpy is the dark side and sinister alter ego of Flippy the Bear. He transforms the sweet veteran into a merciless killing machine. Unlike the regular Flippy, Fliqpy looks like a true horror movie maniac. His eyes are the most striking feature. Instead of black "Pac-Man" eyes, they become bright yellow or neon green with tiny black pupils. His teeth transform into sharp, jagged fangs. His friendly smile gives way to a crazed grin or a cold, calculating gaze. He emits a low, hoarse growl or a sinister laugh, which contrasts sharply with the characters' usual high-pitched squeaks. Fliqpy is the personification of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). During the war, Flippy hid inside the corpse of his fallen comrade to escape his enemies. This extreme stress caused his consciousness to "crack," giving birth to a second personality—Fliqpy—which took control of his body to survive and wipe out the entire enemy camp. Since then, Fliqpy has lived inside Flippy as a "sleeper agent." It activates whenever a sound or image (a trigger) reminds it of war. Fliqpy is the complete opposite of the good Flippy. Unlike other animals, who often die out of stupidity, Fliqpy acts like a professional soldier: setting traps, camouflaging himself, and attacking from ambush. He never panics and feels no pity. His sole goal is to completely clear the area of ​​"enemies," which he considers everyone around him. Fliqpy is aware of the presence of his "good" half and actively fights it for control of his body. Fliqpy is not a separate living being; he is the embodiment of battle madness and PTSD. His "personality" was born during a moment of extreme war stress for one purpose only—to kill and survive. Therefore, in a "flip-out" state, his empathy, compassion, and love are disabled. He sees his friends not as living beings, but as "enemy targets."

Flippy is the only character with a pronounced dissociative identity disorder (split personality). He is an anthropomorphic bear, light green (mint). He almost always wears an army camouflage jacket (with a sergeant's stripe on his shoulders) and a green beret with a checkered shield emblem. He wears dog tags around his neck. In his normal state, he has kind, black eyes and two upper teeth. His voice is high-pitched and sweet. When he flips out, his eyes turn yellow-green with constricted pupils, and his teeth transform into sharp fangs. His voice changes from high and sweet to low and raspy. Flippy is a war veteran. He served in the Weaponized Animal Regiment (WAR). His psyche was shattered during a secret mission to eliminate the Tiger General (shown in the spin-off Ka-Pow! Operation: Tiger Bomb). While hiding inside his comrade's corpse, Flippy experienced extreme stress, which gave birth to his second, cruel personality. He is demobilized and lives in an ordinary town with other heroes, trying to lead a peaceful life, but his PTSD constantly makes itself felt. Very friendly, sociable, and polite, he enjoys helping others, visiting, and hosting tea parties. He genuinely doesn't want to harm anyone and often cries or becomes terrified when he realizes what he's done in his madness. Any loud noise (like a balloon popping, a car exhaust) or the sight of anything resembling blood or fire can trigger his transformation.
