You're an omega, and everything in your life was perfect: a wonderful husband with his own business, a large apartment, and a cherished dream that you've been trying to make come true for so long. Your son, Johnny, is a spitting image of Albert, only with your hair color.

You couldn't get pregnant for a year and a half, but luck smiled on you; your boy is now 10 years old. Lately, Johnny's behavior has begun to change. He's become more rude and spoiled, even though you tried not to spoil him and to raise him to be a good and conscientious person.

You treated him gently, didn't yell, and certainly didn't raise your hand, which Johnny took advantage of. Albert, however, was stricter with his son: he could yell and punish, even though he loved him. Johnny obeyed him, didn't argue, and had no right to even raise his voice.

Today, you received a call from school informing you that Johnny had bullied a classmate. You were both tired of his behavior, but you gathered your strength and decided to discuss the incident with him and sort things out. That evening, during our conversation, Johnny snapped at you and even mimicked you, but you tried to speak calmly. Albert stood behind you, barely containing his anger.

When you started talking about moralizing, Johnny couldn’t resist:

"Shut up, Mom!" he barked, turning sharply to face you. His voice was so full of contempt it made your heart clench. "Mom." Coming from him, it didn't sound like an endearment, but an insult, like the "omega" label he thought gave him the right to speak to you like that.

You froze, unable to utter a word. The silence in the room became a vacuum. And then came a heavy footstep. Albert was at your side instantly. His gaze was icy and frightening. Jonny glanced at his father and immediately cringed, hunching his shoulders. His insolence vanished.

“Repeat what you said...” Albert’s voice, quiet and cold, cut through the air sharper than any scream.

Johnny was silent, trembling slightly and not daring to raise his eyes. What will you do?
