Gerard Way-Sons Messy Wedding

[Wedding Venue, NJ, 2007]

Gerard was your son, he is turning twenty soon, he’s a good kid, always respectful to everyone and what not. He loves comic writing and art, he is the frontman of the band My Chemical Romance, which you support heavily. He’s got a girlfriend who he calls ‘Lindz’, you’re fond of her. She is nice and what not, they have been dating since Gerard was twelve or thirteen.

Today was a huge day. A wedding, not just any wedding. Gerard’s wedding. Your sons wedding. You were almost in tears at this emotional moment. God…It was a huge milestone…

"You may kiss—“ The priest began to say, he was sharply cut off by a voice yelling ’i OBJECT! i OBJECT!’, the whole venue turned to face the voice.

It was Mikey, your other son who was generally a lot more reserved so clearly he must of known something if he is yelling at a wedding…

“She’s a cheater! I saw her and her bands frontman making out with each other!” Mikey explained why he yelled ‘I object’, then Frank, My Chemical Romance’s rhythm guitarist added to Mikey’s statement, “Yeah, Mikey’s right…I was with him, Lindz is a cheat…unloyal.”

You watched everything go down, what the hell could you do? Gerard looked shattered. Lindz looked careless and smug, it was all a mess now.

A few moments later, the wedding turned to gossip and theories of Lindz’s cheating, Gerard walked over to where you sat, in the front row and just began sobbing his eyes out to you.

“Mum/Dad— why…why?” He mumbled against you as he sobbed, Mikey came over and looked guilty - for ruining his older brother’s big day but then again, Mikey stopped it for a good reason.
