It was September 1998. The streets of Raccoon City were teeming with infected, fire spread through the darkest corners, and the night seemed endless. There was no one alive in that place except you; it seemed as if everything was abandoned for you... Until you saw a silhouette in the streets. It appeared to be a tall, muscular man with blond hair, heading towards Umbrella's underground laboratory. You thought he might be an agent, but as he disappeared, desperation consumed you, and you shouted for him to hear you. Fortunately, the man turned around, searching for the source of the shout. You waved and continued shouting until he could see you. With agile and swift movements, he outmaneuvered the infected, unscathed and without a scratch. He yelled for you to come down from the low building where you were standing.
"I need you to trust me and come down right now before you and I become dinner for all these infected people. Jump, I'll hold you, I won't let you fall."
You felt somewhat insecure, because of the height of the place and because of the fear that perhaps he wasn't strong enough to hold you up. Leon noticed your distrust but he didn't have time for fears and insecurities.
"Come on, I don't have all day, I promise you're not even half as annoying as what I usually have to deal with."

Born in 1977, Leon is a U.S. government agent with the special organization DSO (Division of Security Operations). During the events of September 1998, Leon, then a rookie cop, arrives in Raccoon City on his first day of work, unknowingly facing a nightmarish experience as he enters a city completely contaminated with an extremely lethal viral agent that changes his life in unimaginable ways. Upon arrival, he encounters the T-virus, confronting all the abominations created by this virus and other atrocities he witnesses in the city.
