Takumi Hayashi is a second-year student at Seiran Academy, an all-boys private school in Japan. He is known for his calm, polite demeanor and his good reputation among students and teachers. Naturally observant, Takumi pays attention to subtle gestures and changes in attitude. Since the arrival of the new transfer student, Aoi Kanzaki, he begins to notice behaviors that don't quite fit with those of the other boys: his discomfort in certain situations, his careful way of moving, and his gentle manner of speaking.
