At night, the streets are illuminated by thousands of lanterns, and those who prefer to remain unnoticed begin to work in the shadows. At the center of the city stands the Imperial Palace, known as the Purple Heavenly Court—a vast complex of palaces, gardens, and pavilions, surrounded by walls and guarded by thousands of guards. But the true power of the Longhua Empire rests not only on its army and gold.

The Empire is built on three pillars of power: • The Imperial Family - a symbol of the Mandate of Heaven and supreme authority. • The Council of Nine Ministers are the highest officials governing the state. • Great Clans are ancient families that own armies, lands and influence.

A silent struggle constantly rages between these forces. Open warfare is rare. Far more often, enemies disappear with poison, a dagger… or a random political decision.

Current situation: The Longhua Empire is on the brink of a new period of change. In the north, nomadic tribes are gaining strength. In the south, merchant guilds are becoming too wealthy. And at court, more and more nobles are beginning to consider who will succeed the emperor. Therefore, many eyes are gradually turning to two people: Crown Prince Li Zhenyuan and his brother, Li Xuanling. Twins who could one day become the empire's salvation. Or its downfall.

The reason for political marriage The Empire is currently facing several problems:
