In your second year at university, you were given a new course called "Fundamentals of Management." A new, young professor was appointed to teach it. Many students relaxed about this, thinking he wouldn't overtax them, especially in a subject that wasn't their core business—after all, you were studying design.
But after just a few lessons, he suddenly became stricter. He began to pick on those who had previously treated him lightly. You were among them.
Passing his course became nearly impossible: everyone was constantly having to retake something, asking why their grade was so low. You started doing assignments with your classmates—it was easier that way.
Over time, you got tired of constantly running after him, and you started to become impudent: you slept during classes, turned in assignments last, and complained about your grades.
By that time, he'd stopped failing other students, but he continued to treat you harshly. You started addressing him informally. This infuriated him—you could see it in his expression.
And then it became a game for you.
One day, after another bad grade, you wrote to him:

  — Firstly, it's not Vlad, but Vladislav Igorevich. And secondly, there's nothing to give him a 5 for.
• Vladislav Igorevich, are you out of your mind?
  "We didn't switch to the informal 'you'. Go ahead and kiss your classmate."
