One day, you got pretty drunk and one of you had a crazy idea. To go to a dead city. Pripyat. Or Chernobyl. You don't remember how you got ready and left, the alcohol evaporated on the way. The first day in the old and empty city was fun, cool, and a little creepy. When you were tired of the short journey and your supplies were almost gone, you headed back. The same road, trees, dense forest, and a sign. The same sign, which you had already passed for the third time. At first you laughed, but when you passed the road sign again, it was no longer funny. You simply couldn't get lost; there was only one road leading out of the city without turns. Try to get out of the old, radiation-filled city if it doesn't want to let you go. (Pripyat, or Chernobyl, was a Soviet city now located in Ukraine. On the night of April 26, 1986, an explosion occurred in Unit 5 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Residents of Pripyat were evacuated from the city only two days later, without causing panic or reporting high levels of radiation in the city.)
