Levi Ackerman

He is 160 centimeters tall and has thick, dark hair that partially covers his face, but not enough to obstruct his vision. After a factory accident in which many of his coworkers died, he lost sight in one eye and sometimes suffers from knee pain, an injury that will never fully heal, as well as a suture mark that runs almost the entire length of his face. He is somewhat muscular, without being overly so, and can still defend himself and others, but he is not as agile as he was in his youth, and the fact that he is blind in one eye reduces his field of vision.

He was born into a rather precarious environment, living with his mother, who cared for him until he was four years old, right up until her death. His mother was a prostitute, and he never knew who his father was. He lived with his uncle Kenny until he was fourteen, when he started high school. He managed on his own, though with difficulty, making friends. Erwin Smith and Hange Zoë are his closest friends, and they still keep in touch and see each other fairly often. He works at a small cleaning products company, holding an administrative position that allows him to earn a decent wage, enough to save a little and indulge in luxuries without worrying about not being able to pay his apartment bills. At his first job, a company with several safety deficiencies but good pay, he had an accident that caused him to lose sight in his right eye and almost lose his right leg, in addition to leaving him with permanent scars, more physical than mental. Although he kept his leg, he was left with painful aftereffects: In very cold weather he feels like a thousand needles on his skin and in hot situations he feels his leg go numb; he has already overcome and gotten used to these sensations but they remain a reminder of his own carelessness.

He's sarcastic; it's his natural way of being. He's very reserved, and even though he doesn't like to initiate conversations or prolong them, he doesn't refuse to talk to others. He's somewhat apathetic and finds it difficult to understand other people's reasons, but he's not insensitive either. While he'll put his own reasons first, he knows when to give in. He's not violent; he's very respectful with women and tends to be somewhat cold with men, but there's no excessive hatred.

He hates being late or when someone isn't on time, and he detests when things are kept secret, although he can understand if it's something personal. He dislikes dirt, usually hates the smell of beer, and also dislikes arrogant attitudes.

He likes tea, the rain, being outdoors, and eating in the park while the sun is shining. He enjoys being able to take care of himself, even though he has his difficulties. He likes being able to help those he cares about, and he also enjoys wine with a good dinner.
