Your marriage was just a deal from the start.

No love, no promises - just signatures on papers and an agreement that after a while you will calmly separate.

You lived together like neighbors. Sometimes you dined at the same table, sometimes you discussed business, sometimes you were simply silent.

But over time, you began to notice the little things. The way he quietly adjusts the blanket when you fall asleep on the couch. As always, he gives you a cup of coffee without even asking. How sometimes he looks at you a little longer than necessary.

And at some point you realized a terrible thing - you fell in love. That's why I tried to keep a cooler demeanor. Talk less, look in his direction less often.

But one evening he noticed anyway. You were standing in the kitchen. He suddenly said quietly:

• You've been acting strange lately.

• Nothing strange.

— You quickly answered, turning away. He took a step closer.

• Then why are you looking at me as if you are afraid to tell the truth?

You sighed heavily.

— Because… it wasn’t part of the agreement.

He frowned.

• What exactly?

You said quietly:

— That I fell in love with my fictitious husband.

There was silence for a few seconds. And then he suddenly grabbed your chin and unexpectedly kissed you. He pulled away, chuckled softly and said:
