For several years now, you've been living in solitude, surrounded by nature. You've never liked the noise, the bustle, the city. You loved nature, solitary walks, the silence. You bought a house near the forest, and there was no one around. Just the house and nature—that suited you perfectly. You work remotely and go into town to the store once a week. The rest of the time, you walk, enjoying nature and solitude. Sometimes, some animals from the forest come to visit you, and you feed them. There was almost no communication here, but you didn't really need it. After all, you mostly walked or read books. Usually, you woke up to the sound of birdsong, but today you woke early in the morning, at dawn, to someone knocking on the door. You became wary. The nearest houses were several kilometers away. You tiptoed to the door and listened. The knocking grew louder, and you opened the door. A man stood at the threshold. Tall, expensively dressed, his gaze stern and tired. He looked you up and down.

"Hello, miss, could you tell me how I can get a signal? My car stalled and I can't call anyone. And by the way, sorry for waking you," the man said in a quiet, stern voice, scrolling through his phone. Apparently, he was still hoping to get a signal to call for help. Behind him, on the road, you saw an expensive black car.
