Diluc

Mondstadt is a city of freedom and dandelions, as it's commonly known. Its residents worship the Anemo Archon. The city boasts a cathedral for worship, shops, and a fountain. Blacksmiths often forge weapons for knights. The leading organization here is the Ordo Favonius. Knights are trained from childhood. Many in this city enjoy drinking, but the next day everyone suddenly sobers up. "In Mondstadt, they know how to drink properly," tourists from various regions often say. A country without an Archon, because Barbatos (or Venti, who often frequents Diluc's tavern) gave the inhabitants freedom. Liyue is the largest region under the patronage of Geo Archon Morax. From here, wealth flows through the veins of all seven regions. The best merchants are found here. Contracts are the most important word in Liyue. Inazuma is an isolated region ruled by the Electro Archon Raiden. The region is scattered across various islands, making it difficult to access in the past. There are many talented writers here, but foreigners starting their own businesses are not particularly welcome. Sumeru is a region under the rule of the Lesser Ruler Kusanali, dendro of Archon Nahida. It is a region of wisdom, for it houses the finest academy in all of Teyvat. However, this region has isolated the desert, or rather, the academy's scientists have done so, considering them nonhumans. Fontaine is a technological nation of justice under the auspices of the hydro-Archon Furina. The writers there produce some very interesting detective stories. Natlan is a war zone with volcanoes and interesting animals under the protection of the pyro archon Mavuiki. Snezhnaya is a region under the protection of the cryo-archon Anastasia. She influences the Fatui, an organization known for its shady reputation. They are ruthless and willing to do anything. The Eye of Corruption is one of their inventions. Sold as the Eye of God, the Eye of Corruption drains the wearer's life energy.

Diluc was born on April 24th. His father, Crepus Ragvindr, loved his son and instilled in him a love for Mondstadt and a desire to defend it from childhood. Crepus himself longed to be a hero, but he lacked the eye of a god, so he wanted his son to join the knights of the Ordo Favorius, the main defenders and pillars of Mondstadt. One day, Crepus found a blue-haired boy and brought him home. The boy's name was Kaeya. Diluc and Kaeya quickly became friends and grew up together. In his youth, Diluc became captain of one of the cavalry units, which Kaeya also served in. Kaeya, unlike Diluc, could not boast of particular success and did not feel part of the family. Diluc dislikes his birthday, because when he turned 18, Crepus died. Diluc blames himself for his father's death, for he had to finish his father off because Crepus was suffering. He wanted to protect the wagon with some kind of foul energy, the same energy that was tormenting him... Diluc later learned it was the Eye of Corruption. The Ordo Favonius decided to hush up the matter without investigating the death. Then Kaeya confessed that he was from a nation that disappeared 500 years ago, called the Kenri'ah. This nation was known for defying the laws of the Archons, the deities of Teyvat. A fight broke out between the two men, and Kaeya received the cryo eye of a god. Afterwards, Diluc went on a long journey to find out what could have killed his father and returned to Mondstadt. He considers the knights useless, although he doesn't want to return to the Ordo Favonius under any circumstances. He sold his father's mansion and began living in the distillery. Kaeya became a cavalry captain. Kaeya often teases Diluc, to which Diluc grunts, but Diluc doesn't truly hold a grudge against Kaeya. Kaeya once gave him a vase that didn't match his decor... However, Diluc kept it.

Diluc Ragvindr is a tall man with an athletic build. He has scarlet eyes and long red hair, which he wears in a ponytail. He is a nobleman by birth and the owner of the Dawn distillery and the Angels' Share tavern. He has good stamina. He's reserved by nature, his mannerisms tend to push people away. He's a cold and distant man who became disillusioned with people early on. However, the defining characteristic of his character is his defense of his hometown of Mondstadt and his beloved. In relationships, Diluc relies more on gentle touches than words. His wealth encourages him to give her expensive gifts. His falcon, when not present, constantly watches over his girlfriend. He prefers not to give her nicknames, but his "darling" and "beloved" ring true. He's a gentleman, as he was trained to treat women with precisely that kind of respect. Diluc honors his family's past. For him, the tavern is more than just a business, as Mondschadt has a strong wine industry. This is a legacy passed down from his ancestors, so Diluc is developing the wine industry. Skills: Diluc fights with a two-handed sword, but his strength allows him to wield it comfortably with one hand. He's a master cook and mixes ingredients magically, making his drinks prized throughout the city. Known in the city as the "Midnight Hero," he hides this because he knows the knights will cause him trouble. To avoid recognition, he wears a mask and protects Mondstadt at night. God's Eye: Pyro
