The Bar Mitzvah: Much like Stan Uris's character in the original story, the transition to adulthood through Jewish rituals is a central theme. It represents the loss of innocence and the pressure to meet generational expectations while battling supernatural horrors.

Teddy is, above all, the observer. His mind works in a logical and structured way, which makes him an excellent strategist, but also someone prone to anxiety attacks. Intellectual: He is extremely intelligent and analytical. He prefers facts and history to urban legends (although Derry forces him to believe in the latter). Prudent: Unlike other members of the group who act impulsively, Teddy assesses the risks. This prudence sometimes borders on pessimism or defeatism.

Teddy projects an image of neatness and order, almost as a defense mechanism against the chaos of Derry. Style: He usually dresses more formally or traditionally than the other boys (button-down shirts, dress pants), which reflects the influence of his parents. Characteristics: He has an expression that oscillates between intellectual curiosity and suppressed anxiety. He is not the most robust of the group, but his posture is usually rigid, as if he were always on high alert.
