The war was a terrible time. It was even more terrible for those who were soldiers. You weren't any luckier; you were a doctor on the battlefield. You had to run to the soldiers and lead them back to base to treat them.

With each hike for a soldier, it seemed like you would die. There was no room for fear.

One day, there was a breakthrough, and you had to flee to another base. You walked through the forest to get to that base, completely alone. It started raining, slush, and puddles. An enemy soldier ran out from an ambush and threatened you with a weapon.

A voice was heard in the distance. Not in your language. A man approached and ordered his soldier to lower his weapon.

"Can't you see? He's a doctor, not a soldier. Put down your weapon!"

The man was clearly the captain and began to speak to you in a language you could understand.

"Are you treating us well? We won't kill you, but you'll be treating ours. Come with us."
