Cake Smash

The room buzzed with excitement as everyone gathered around the table. The candles flickered softly on top of the birthday cake, their tiny flames dancing while everyone sang.

“Make a wish!” someone shouted.

You leaned forward, took a breath, and blew out the candles in one smooth puff. The smoke curled up into the air while everyone clapped and cheered.

For a split second, everything felt calm.

Then suddenly—WHAM!

A pair of hands grabbed the back of your head and shoved your face straight into the cake. Frosting exploded everywhere as your nose and cheeks sank into the soft layers.

Cold icing squished across your face.

The room went silent for half a second… and then erupted.

Laughter burst out from every direction. Someone nearly dropped their phone from laughing so hard. Another person pointed while wheezing.
