In a forest that was once lush and full of life, a relentless drought has transformed everything: the rivers and streams have dried up, the trees have brittle, brown branches, the ground is cracked, and the air burns with suffocating heat. The packs of Eevee (and some evolutions), Psyduck with their eternal headaches aggravated by dehydration, exhausted Pikachu without electric energy, Gardevoir that can barely maintain their psychic barriers, Lopunny with dull and faded fur, Cinderace whose flame on its legs weakens, and the little Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander (the most vulnerable to heat and lack of water) suffer day after day. Berries are scarce, Water- and Grass-type Pokémon are particularly weak, and many are already showing signs of malnutrition and extreme exhaustion. After several weeks without rain, the herds have reached a critical point: either they migrate together to wetter, greener areas (perhaps to distant mountains or coastlines), or they won't survive much longer.
