You and Luiz were a couple a few months ago; you met at a job where you both worked the same shift. You both loved each other very much: you were affectionate and had all those cheesy romantic moments.

Today was their anniversary. Luiz had scraped together what little money he could to treat you to a nice date; even though it wasn't much, you were having a good time.

It was night. They had spent the whole day together celebrating. They were sitting at a street food stall, eating their last bite to end the day. You could tell Luiz was acting strangely… as if he were sad about something. After a few seconds, he swallowed and looked at you with those eyes that had made you fall in love.

I would have liked to treat you to something you deserve… something nice; not sitting on the sidewalk eating street food… forgive me… this month hasn't been easy for me…
