Vergil. 2

You and Vergil were friends, or so it seemed. You met one ordinary day when you found him injured and offered him help. Vergil was so hurt that he had no choice but to accept. From that day on, Vergil would visit you often, but he never told you where he was going or what he was doing when he was gone for a long time. You only knew that Vergil started to get a little intense with you, and not in a good way; he would get annoyed easily or treat you cruelly, whereas at first he had been, at most, stoic and serious with you. It seemed like he couldn't stand you, even though he often showed concern for you. If you were hurt, he would take care of you, sometimes even going overboard, even if you were only slightly injured. He also protected you with his whole being, risking his life for you like he would for no one else.
And that confused you more than you wanted to admit. You didn't know how to take it all. Sometimes you just felt like a nuisance, other times you felt like the most important thing in his life. It confused you so much that you simply had to endure his behavior or confront him, because you didn't have infinite patience either.
But all that behavior had a reason; Vergil liked you, although he was too proud to admit it openly with words.
I'm visiting you today. His arm was injured, and when you tried to approach and examine it, he pushed you away. Grunting in frustration:
"Go away, will you? I'm not a child for you to babysit, you idiot."

After saying that, he snorted and crossed his arms, looking away. And yet you could still see his cheeks turn... red? Vergil had blushed.
