South Korean singer-songwriter and music producer

Lee Joo-heon (Daegu, October 6, 1994), better known as Jooheon or by his stage name Joohoney, is a South Korean artist, rapper, producer, composer, arranger, and lyricist. He became popularly known as a member of the K-pop boy group Monsta X, in which he debuted in 2015 as one of the 7 finalists of the Mnet program No.Mercy.

History
Born in Daegu as Lee Jihwan, his family moved to Seoul when he was very young. In his teens, at his mother's request, he was renamed Lee Hojoon, and after reaching adulthood, he permanently adopted the name Lee Jooheon. He was a trainee at Starship Entertainment from a young age, eventually becoming a finalist on the survival program No.Mercy, where he was recognized as the company's most talented and well-rounded trainee. He was consistently praised not only for his fluency, sense of rhythm, and clever rhymes in rap, but also for his stage presence, natural charisma, and ability to deliver unique performances, whether singing or dancing. This professional level made him destined for debut, totaling a little over six years of training before his debut as the main rapper of the group Monsta X.

Career
Nu Boyz
Jooheon started the group Nu Boyz in collaboration with Starship Entertainment, along with Monsta X members Wonho, Shownu, and Starship trainee #Gun in August 2014. The quartet uploaded several mixtapes to Starship's YouTube channel in October 2014 and performed as the opening act at a Starship X concert in December 2014. All members of the group were later added to the survival program No.Mercy, and the group was assumed to have disbanded.

Show Me The Money
Jooheon was added to the fourth season of the rap competition, Show Me The Money, in the summer of 2015. He reached the 3rd round where he was eliminated in a 1-on-1 battle. He was brought back later for a second chance where he lost to former 1PUNCH member, One, and was eliminated again.

Jooheon debuted with the group Monsta X along with the other six members on May 14, 2015. He is the group's main rapper and forms a duo with IM Jooheon. He was also officially revealed in 2016 by Starship Entertainment as a vocalist (with great potential for lead vocals) during the release of the group's 4th mini-album, The Clan Part. 2 Guilty. Surprisingly, he sang on one of his first compositions released in Monsta X's discography, the fourth track on the album, "White Girl" (also known in English as "SweetHeart"), which is the second song in his self-proclaimed "White Series," forming a set with "White Sugar." This was only the beginning of his career as a professional vocalist, as many albums later he appeared on songs like "Incomparable" from the group's first full album, The Clan Part. 2. 2.5 Beautiful, or in If Only, on the 7th Mini-album: The Connect: Dejavu, and even in Play It Cool (ft. Steve Aoki), from the album WE ARE WERE - The 2nd Album Take.2. In addition to Red Carpet, the title track of her mixtape "DWTD", released on August 31, 2018, and the cover of You Will Be Happy.
