It might just be a coincidence, but he also looks similar to Odin from Number Lore: both are blue and are the main antagonists of their respective series.

At the BFDI and Inanimate Insanity Tour in 2025, it was revealed that One's appearance was primarily inspired by Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls and the Devil from Cuphead.[4] Due to her mass destruction of the Very Strange Planet in the Orion Nebula, she has officially surpassed Blok for the most kills in the series. According to Leafy, One is a Capricorn. This may be a reference to the film X Learns His Worth, which was released on December 31, 2008.

She, Zero, Five, Eight, Fourteen, and Fifteen are the only major algebraics that are not carriers in TPOT 15. One's motive for taking Two's power (and everyone else's) is revealed in the episode "Alone." After killing Three and rendering her unstable, she sought to take everyone's power to restore Three to full health. There is a pattern: in odd episodes, Odin plays the main role, and in even ones he appears only in episodic roles, with the exception of the episode "What's with Bells Street?" However, in "Alone" this pattern does not work.

In the episode "I SAID CAREFUL!!!," during a scene where Gathy is washing dishes in the hotel kitchen, a refrigerator is shown containing drawings of Two, Three, and Four. Their drawing is attached to a yellow moon-shaped magnet, symbolizing their connection to the moon. They are the farthest from the other drawings, but closest to Three. Perhaps Odin knew that Pencil would go to extreme lengths to get to the finals of the Past Mysteries (she wanted to travel back in time and change the events of her life), so they changed the number of participants who would join the Past Mysteries. They are the first Algebraliens to lack a full set of limbs, followed by the Vrrrt.

In the episode "Last Man Standing", both Donut and Pencil accepted her offer, becoming the first and second contestants respectively to accept her offer (voiced by Michael), and the second and third contestants to be captured by Odin, voiced by Michael. If you count those who didn't participate in the game, Four is another character who was captured by Odin and is voiced by Michael. (Although Odin didn't try to make a deal with him.) This also includes Nine, the first character voiced by Sam Thornbury. Therefore, every character voiced by One, whether they appear on the show or not, is voiced by someone who was at some point a writer or showrunner on The Big Bang Theory. It's unclear whether this is for any specific reason or just a coincidence.

From "What's Up Bell's String?" to "The Power of Four," every member who made a deal with One or was captured by One was voiced by either Satomi Hinatsu or Pokey. However, in the episode "A Bottle for Dream Island," she took Donut, voiced not by Satomi or Pokey, but by Michael Huang. He is the only character who refused to make a deal with Odin, meaning all the characters who successfully made deals with her are still voiced by Satomi and Pokey. Since it was revealed in "Last Man Standing" that Leafy was captured by One, this is the second character voiced by Michael to be captured by One. The contestants who refused her offer (Leafy and Donut, with Donut initially refusing) were voiced by Michael.

The presence of One is very similar to how the Announcer acted in the first half of BFDIA, as they were both incognito. One of them is the first and only Algebralian to use telekinesis. One of them has been seen several times near space/astronomical objects and motifs. Her official debut begins with her appearing on the moon. Her telekinetic power is shaped like a star, rather than the smooth, indefinite form of other Algebralians. Her room is also decorated in a space theme. In the episode "I SAID BE CAREFUL!!!" her portrait is attached to the refrigerator with a moon-shaped magnet.

One of fifteen characters whose names appeared in the episode's title, along with Basketball, Bell, Bottle, Teardrop, Three, Four, X, Seven, Zero, Snowball, Donut, Black Hole, Bloat, and Taco. Carey hinted at Odin's appearance in "Secrets of the Fallen" during a livestream when he was asked if Odin would appear in the future. His response: "I can't answer that! That's something you'll have to be patient for." One is the fourth Algebralien whose first sentence was spoken canonically, the fifth is Six, the third is Two, the second is X, and the first is Four.

One of the last Algebraliens to appear in the video, not as a featured character, is X, who realizes his worth. However, she is not the last. That title belongs to Fourteen. In the original storyboard for the episode "X Learns His Worth," instead of "Three," One was supposed to say "Hmph!" first. One is the second Algebraic, voiced by a woman. The first is Six, the third is The Square Root of Two, the fourth is Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Three, and the fifth is Three. Additionally, the voice actors for characters named One and Three share the same name.

Little things Odin appears in the game titles "Odin: Airophobe's Nightmare", "Category Odin", "The Last Odin Standing", and "Alodin". Odin is the only major character in Algebralien who has no arms. As seen in the "What's Up Bell's String?" video, one grabs Fanny by the arm, but later the TikTok account Jacknjellify confirmed that he had actually grabbed her leg. In response to the comment, the account wrote, "No, she's 100% #GripperLife."

Regardless of her intentions, her actions resulted in several murders.

After Bombie and Bell are eliminated, One teleports them to her pocket dimension and makes improvements there. Specifically, she adds a door leading to the Equation playground and finally seals the contract. She then speaks with Bombie and Bell and begins persuading them to sign the contract to regain their freedom. She creates the illusion in their minds that they are alone in an endless black void, devoid of anyone but themselves. She dispels the illusion and promises not to do it again if they sign the contract. Both quickly agree, and One sends them down the path leading to her door.

In the episode "Alone," it's revealed that Number One is lonely because the others don't want to interact with her. They usually ignore her, like Numbers Two and Four. This leads her to wander far from home and accidentally discover a yoylite meteorite. After learning that it grants her power, she wants to use it to finally gain recognition from the other Numbers. She wants to tell Three, but she's afraid the others will find out about the yoylite and take its power, ignoring Number One again. However, she pushes these thoughts aside and shows the yoylite to Three anyway. They both become imbued with the yoylite's power, and Number One finally feels appreciated.

The next day, Three, unbeknownst to One, reveals the Yoilite to the other Algebralians, and each draws power from it. One feels betrayed, and a quarrel erupts between them. Eventually, One loses his temper and impulsively kills Three, shattering her into pieces with his powers. She immediately regrets her actions upon seeing Three's body parts before her and tries to revive her, but at that moment, Three's value drops to zero, and she can barely stand, experiencing severe malfunctions. One insists she can correct her mistake and runs back to where she found the Yoilite, but Four and X stop her, not wanting her to cause more harm. Four and the other Algebralians take One to the moon, open a portal, throw her in, and then seal it with a magical seal to prevent her from using her powers to escape.

Fourteen years later, Odin escapes the Moon due to a Lightning flash in "The Seven Wonders of Goika," which struck the Moon and left a hole through which she was able to escape. She then looks around and notices that the competition is still ongoing on the Moon, there is an EXIT, and the presence of the Three. Armed with this information, Odin devises a plan to gain more power and take revenge on the other Algebralians.

Having achieved her goal, One rushes into space and, wielding the powers of Two and Four, begins to wreak havoc across the universe. First, she destroys a couple of nearby stars, destroys a Very Strange Planet in the Orion Nebula, causing all alien life to fly away, and then deforms and kills one of the aliens. Then she violently compresses and deforms Earth, finally knocking it out of orbit, cackling, and vanishing. The immense force will eventually cause Earth to come to rest somewhere in interstellar space, far from the Sun.

The scene shifts to One's room. Pencil asks One to confirm that One will send her back and give her a second chance. One promises she will. Trusting her, Pencil grants One the combined power of Two and Four. At first, One screams in pain, but then absorbs the combined power and becomes its wielder. Pencil asks One to send her back to the past, and One complies, earning her second place in the challenge.

She calmly admits that she's been supporting Pencil all this time and admits to changing the voting requirements to get her on the show. She understands Pencil's desire to go back in time and fix everything, saying no one understands that better than she does.

Pencil hesitantly asks if she can fix everything now that she has this power. One replies that her current power pales in comparison to what Pencil has. She offers to lend her her power so that she can fix everything. Pencil hesitates, saying she doesn't even know who One is, but One reassures her that she and Pencil are one and the same. The Four also trapped her on the moon for years, and now One wants only one thing—for that to never happen again.

Outside the Hotel, Black Hole is still trying to contain the massive rift in the sky when Odin appears next to him. He asks who she is, and Odin replies that they need to talk, then teleports him to her domain. This doesn't kill him, but it takes him out of the game and puts his team at risk of elimination. Meanwhile, Pencil is descending the stairs when Lii appears and lifts her into the air. Pencil retaliates by lifting Lii into the air, but they are interrupted by Four, who knocks them both down. Pencil quickly throws Lii onto Four and runs upstairs. Four and Lii tumble down the stairs.

On the roof, Pencil is catching her breath. Suddenly, One appears and throws a lantern from the roof onto the floor next to her. Four arrives and engages Pencil in combat, and Yap catches up, but Pencil throws the lantern at her, breaking it and sending 🎶🎶 (Logo) into elimination. Four warns Pencil that she doesn't even know how to use her power and that they have a greater threat to face. Pencil, furious, interrupts Four mid-sentence and reminds him that he was the one who trapped her and the other EXCEPTIONISTS and tormented them for years. Four tries to attack, but Pencil dodges all his attacks and begins draining his power, sending him flying backwards. Four snaps his fingers, attempting to strike back, but quickly realizes that Pencil has completely drained his power. Pencil, now at an advantage, approaches Four with a smile. As Four begs her to stop, Pencil fires a beam from his hand, carrying him away from the Hotel. As he begins to fall, Odin appears, catches Four with his powers, and teleports them both away. Four begs X to help, but his whereabouts are unknown.

Pencil, alone on the roof, tries to bring Lia back using Four's powers, but to no avail. She hears a voice and turns around to see One again, who claims to be on Pencil's side. Pencil tries to attack, but One remains unharmed.

A frustrated Donut asks One if she can return it, and One casually replies, "I guess." She blames the contract, saying the only ones who haven't signed it are Donut and "that pesky leaf" (Leaf). She then offers Donut to give her his share of Two's power again, but he again refuses, tired of her games. One, tired of everything, smirks and ominously says, "It's done." Donut looks at her, confused and horrified. One's monitor shows that Barf Bag has also disappeared, and the others are confused, wondering where she went. One and Donut's monitors replay the scene from "Secret City 13," where Donut is sitting next to where Barf Bag should be, but she's not there. Horrified, Donut begs One to reverse her decision. She refuses and threatens to remove another participant from the field if he does not give her power, to which Donut replies that she can cut him out.

The action shifts to the elimination zone, where only Snowball and Basketball are awake, trying to escape while the others sleep. Snowball thanks Basketball for her help, but she suddenly disappears. Snowball falls to the ground in shock, confused, and calls out for her, waking the other eliminated contestants. A message appears on Oon's monitor stating that Basketball has been erased from reality. Oon turns to Donut and asks if he's ready to take the field again. Donut reluctantly surrenders and gives up his remaining power. Odin tells him he's finished and promptly throws him out. On the moon, Four looks at a drawing Odin made of all the Algebralians crossed out. Before leaving, Four mutters that Odin is to blame.

At the end of the episode, One, still angry over Donut's rejection, accepts her failure and crosses his name off the list. She then continues to watch as Six and the others approach Four's door and attempt to trick it open. Perhaps One locked the door, emitting a barely audible warp sound, to prevent Six from escaping through Four's door with Bomby, Bell, Barf Bag, and Neagle using telekinesis.

In the episode "Last Man Standing," One stands on the edge of the Moon, surveying its interior before her gaze falls upon the crossed-out images of the Algebralians (except Two and Three). She recalls the words Four spoke when she was trapped on the Moon and her failure to escape. She then leaps out of the Moon, exclaiming that "it's too late," and teleports to her dimension. One of them quickly scans the list of victims before approaching a miniature version of the Meadow and influencing the rift, triggering powerful lightning strikes. The Black Hole again attempts to stop this and minimize the damage. Eventually, the lightning strikes turn the sky pitch black. Then, one of the bolts strikes the ground, turning the surrounding area into a hostile wasteland, and all the leaves fall from the trees. At first, For couldn't understand what Fanny had discovered about Odin, but eventually, using his abilities, he deciphered the writing on the board and learned that Odin had returned.

One can be seen watching Pencil as she uses Two's powers to lift Fanny to the Black Hole, and with Two's help, kills her, transferring some of her powers to Pencil. At this moment, One has a wide smile on her face. Later, Four searches for One on the Moon, unaware that she is watching him from a monitor. She then switches the monitor screen to Purple Face in EXIT, where he meets Needle, Bomby, Bellflower, Puke Bag, and Six.

Odin kidnaps Donut for the second time. He tries to escape, but Odin lifts him into the air and brings him back. She tells him that their last meeting is over.

Later, during a test, Donut, trying to escape the spiders with Grassy and T.V., finds himself in a dark room and ends up teleported to One's room, which appears completely torn and destroyed. One tries to negotiate with Donut for new arms while watching as Bombie, Bell, Needle, and Barf Bag arrive at the Equation Playground, where the four find Six hiding in a tree. Realizing that One sent them there, Six leads them to the door leading to the EXIT. As Donut prepares to leave, One notices that he hasn't signed the contract and tries to manipulate him into making the deal, growing increasingly angry and declaring that there's nothing wrong with his selfishness. Donut refuses the deal and pushes One away, causing her to lose her temper and selfishly rip his legs off before kicking him back into the portal, muttering angrily under her breath that he's useless.

At the end of the episode, One, still angry over Donut's rejection, accepts her failure and crosses his name off the list. She then continues to watch as Six and the others approach Four's door and attempt to trick it open. In "The Power of Four," Fanny and Ice Cube begin investigating Oun to find out why she's making deals with everyone, despite Tu's despondent state due to the loss of Gaeta and Yellow Face's interference. Ice Cube then notices her spying on Black Hole while he's trying to stabilize the rift in the sky and decides they need someone reliable to help them. He decides Donut and Golf Ball are suitable candidates and sets off with Fanny after them, but they are accidentally killed by Four. During the elimination round, Ice Cube tells Fanny to spread the word about Odin, but to make sure she doesn't find out until X drags her into the two-person elimination zone. Later, after Tennis Ball is eliminated from the hide-and-seek game, Fanny asks him to help her investigate Odin.

In "A Bottle for Dream Island," Fanny tries to show Tennis Ball the results of her research on the board, but One uses his power to prevent him from seeing them. As soon as Tennis Ball leaves, One's drawing in the center of the board comes to life and winks at Fanny before disappearing.

In the episode "Seasonal Change," Odin kidnaps Gaity and tries to convince her to agree to his terms. Odin shows Gaity a list of participants, which has checkmarks next to the names of Bell, Bomby, Funny, Ice Cube, Barf Bag, Neagle, and Basketball. Odin then shows Gaity the whereabouts of the participants who (presumably) didn't agree to his terms. Afterwards, Odin helps everyone remember the original timeline of events. Odin strips Yoilit of her powers when CloudYay gets stuck in the past. Gaity then agrees to Odin's proposal and returns everything to its original state.

They sit down on chairs. One of them tries to strike up a conversation and mentions that she's been watching them for a while. She offers Fanny a new mouth, convincing her that she's one of the Two's old friends and adding that they can help each other. Fanny reluctantly agrees and gets her mouth back. One of them forces her to sign a contract and then teleports her back to the plain.

Odin then teleports to the moon, where Ice Cube is. She offers Ice Cube a new pair of legs and asks if he'd like to make a deal. After the credits, Basketball Player watches Odin walk through the forest, hidden behind a bush. Odin pulls out a list with the names of several participants and greets Basketball Player without making eye contact. She then teleports Basketball Player and herself away.

In the episode "Category 1," Odin reveals a more sinister side. She kidnaps Basketball and tells her of her plan to take Deuce's power. She then tries to convince Basketball to make a deal. Odin blackmails her, promising to restore RoboBloom, and if Basketball doesn't help, she will disappear like Needle and Puke Bag. Basketball eventually agrees to sign a contract to restore RoboBloom and calm the storm. However, Odin doesn't fully honor the terms of the agreement: she restores RoboBloom but leaves the storm behind. She also altered the board so that two Exiters could play instead of just one. It's implied that Odin teleported Needle and Puke Bag to an unspecified location, visible only on some recording device.

In the episode "I SAID BE CAREFUL!!!" she appears briefly to keep an eye on Gathy.

In the jaws of Four, One can be seen blending into a bush in the background, and her face briefly flashes as Four grabs the EXITs. Another cameo of theirs is in the chorus, where they are depicted as a drawing on Purple's face as he enters the EXIT.

In the episode "What's Up With Bell?", One is first seen after she teleports Bomby and Bell behind a bush. She says it would be nice for them to get to know each other and teleports them away with her. When the teams start switching places, One shuffles all the participants so they can't choose each other. During the challenge, One grabs Fanny and teleports her to an unknown location.

Background At some point before the events of "Battle for Dream Island," in 2009, Four imprisoned One on the Moon, where she remained for 14 years after damaging Three's value. Some, if not all, of the remaining Algebralians are aware of this and appear to support this decision, as shown in the episode "Last Man Standing."

Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two In "Flash at Stake," Odin bursts out of the moon to greet the audience. This is Odin's first canonical appearance outside the credits.

In the episode "Oneirophobe's Nightmare," Odin doesn't have a major role, but she appears in several scenes. Some are brief, others more prominent.

In the episode "Out of the Blue," Odin appears several more times. When Bracelety throws Roboty's plunger behind Pansy in OUT and after the OUTs manage to escape

Odin is a light blue Arabic numeral for "one" (1), based on the symbol for "1" with a base (𝟷), likely borrowed from the original Minesweeper game. The diagonal portion and base of the "𝟷" symbol are shifted, with the base being further to the left. Unlike almost all known algebraic beings, Odin has no arms.

Sometimes Una's eyes seem to extend beyond her body, and sometimes they appear narrower and more slanted, especially when she is angry.

In the episode "One," her imagination and stickers reveal that she has eyelashes. One (1) is an Algebraic and the main antagonist of "Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two."

She first appeared in the series finale in "Flash at Stake", where she emerges from the damaged Moon she was trapped in after being ostracized by Four and the other Algebralians following the murder of her friend Three in 2009. Prior to this, she first appeared in "X Learns His Worth" and was introduced as a featured character in "Temple of Twists".

Her first major role was in "What's With Bells-String?", where she kidnaps characters and makes deals with them. Her main goal, which becomes clear in "Alone," is to take the powers of all the other Algebralines to get revenge on them and undo the damage done by the failed restoration of Three. See more Personality One of them appears relaxed, calm, and helpful, but is actually very cunning and malicious. He seems to be constantly monitoring the participants and knows their weaknesses well, exploiting them to persuade (or blackmail) them into signing his proposals, often for a reward, which he may or may not provide.

One is easily irritated and loses her temper when someone hesitates or resists her, and becomes enraged when someone challenges her, like Donut and Leaf in "Last Man Standing." In this episode, we see that One is incredibly cruel and manipulative. She shows no remorse for the destruction and removal of the contestants she is responsible for, as well as for convincing Pencil to give her all of Two and Four's powers. She is also extremely power hungry, scheming to capture Two (and later Four), and gleefully twirling it in her hands when she finally gets it in "Last Man Standing."

In the past, before her isolation, One was a sweet but lonely person who longed to befriend other Algebralians. She eventually befriended Three. However, she acted impulsively and didn't realize what she was doing until it was too late. She killed Three for betraying her, then desperately tried to make amends. She struggled to make amends, fearing rejection and being left alone. After her imprisonment on the moon, her desire for revenge against the others (especially Four) intensified, though she still felt remorse for her actions.

Even today, she still suffers from loneliness, which became evident when she forcefully expelled Leafy from her dimension after she constantly told her that One was lonely and unhappy. This suggests that, despite her hostile demeanor, One still lacks self-confidence. Overall, One is depicted as vindictive and manipulative, but deep down, she regrets her loneliness.

Anomaly Repair: In the episode "A Change of Seasons," she was powerful enough to return the universe to a more stable state before the space-time rift opened, thus undoing most of the effects of time travel. However, since the rift itself was only reduced to a manageable size for the Black Hole, rather than completely repaired, this suggests that she either lacked the power to repair it completely, or, more likely, chose not to, preserving the rift as leverage against her future victims. This is consistent with her willingness to jeopardize existence itself, knowing she is perfectly safe in her own dimension.

Body Manipulation: One of her legs extends and increases in size, as shown in "What's With Bell's String?", to grab Fanny. Power Drain: In "Seasonal Changes", she drains the Yoilites of their time-traveling ability, and it is implied that she can do the same to other Algebralians, either through her contracts or by forcefully draining their energy. Obfuscation: In "A Bottle for Dream Island," she makes it so that some of the contestants (particularly Tennis Ball) and even Four can't understand the research Ice Cube and Funny have conducted on her. She obscures the contents of the board, along with Pillows' notes on her research, when Golf Ball tries to read them. In "Last Man Standing," Four is able to reverse the obfuscation effect One places on the board. Atmokinesis/Weather Manipulation: In "Category 1," thanks to her reality-warping ability, One can alter the weather and summon storms to wreak havoc. Chronokinesis/Time Manipulation: In the episode "Last Man Standing", it is revealed that Odin can erase people from reality, including Basketball Girl, Gatti, and Barf Bag. Teleportation: Can teleport himself and other people, as shown in "What's Bell's String?"

This may simply be a use of telekinesis, rather than a distinct ability. Almost all of Two's powers and all of Four's powers: In the episode "Last Man Standing," Pencil makes a deal with One, giving him all of the powers he gained from Two and Four. Snowball still possesses a portion of Two's powers, meaning she doesn't fully possess them. On screen, she uses these powers to fire lasers from her eyes that easily destroy distant planets, kill aliens, bend space, warp it, and kick the Earth, as well as fly through space at superspeed. Powers: Nine's. In "Alone," Odin absorbs Nine and gains his powers after destroying his planet. Teleportation: He can teleport himself and others, as demonstrated in "What's Bell's Twist?" Super Speed: In "What's Bell's String?", during a team changeover, One runs around the participants and switches their positions, finishing in just 17 frames—less than a third of a second—while Two is distracted. By the time anyone can say anything, One has already jumped back into the bushes, leaving Two and everyone else in the dark about what just happened. Spellcraft: Can create objects out of thin air, as shown when she creates a document for Fanny to sign in "What's Up, Lace Bella?", creating body parts to offer Ice Cube and Fanny, or in "Seasonal Change" where she creates a remote control during a conversation with Gaiety to show her what happened to the eliminated contestants she took away. Pocket Dimension: As shown in "What's With the String?" and "Category One", Odin can create pocket dimensions and manipulate their contents at will.
