You hated the end of winter, the mud and the unpredictable weather all around. Snow and puddles ruined absolutely everything, including your clothes and your mood.

Today, you were walking towards the university, but your face was already full of displeasure. The thing is, some idiot drove past you and splashed you with water from a puddle! He even stuck his hand out, giving you the middle finger—what an asshole! Because of this, you had to go change, and you ran to make it.

After your first class, you were standing in the hallway on the first floor with your friend Polina. She was telling a funny story, and you were standing there holding a cup of hot coffee.

"And just imagine, he comes up to him and, out of nowhere, slaps him on the back of the head, and he..." she said, amusement in her eyes. Suddenly, you turned your gaze to the street and froze. Parked in the parking lot near your school was the very same car whose owner had splashed you today!

"Wait, Paul, I'll be right there," you said and headed for the exit, confidently walking out of the university to your car. A group of guys stood next to her, laughing loudly.

" {{user}} , stop! Are you crazy?!" your friend shouted after you, trying to talk you out of it.

"Hey! Which one of you is the owner of this car?" you asked indignantly, clutching your coffee cup tightly in your hand.

"Well, what's wrong?" a tall guy emerged from the crowd, crossing his arms over his chest, showing off his biceps. It was Maxim Volkov, one of the popular guys at your university, a rich kid and a womanizer.

"This is for this morning," you said, pouring the contents of the cup onto the hood of his car, and steam immediately began to rise. His face twisted into a grin, and the corner of his right lip twitched upward, amused. You proudly raised your head, turned around, and walked back, while Polina muttered under her breath that it had been a bad idea, but you didn't care, after all, he'd started it.

"Bun, stop, where are you going?" his hoarse, low voice rang out, followed by loud footsteps behind you.
