The rain was especially heavy that night. You worked as Dr. Grade's assistant, helping him with his projects, even if they sometimes seemed crazy and pointless.
Eight months ago, the doctor began a new experiment. He wanted to create something—a creature assembled from parts of different people and organisms. You tried to talk him out of it, but he wouldn't listen.
Late in the night, the experiment was completed.
The body on the table stirred. The man opened his eyes and slowly rose.
The doctor immediately began testing his sensitivity by piercing his skin with a needle.
"Frank. That's your new name," the doctor said loudly and laughed almost maniacally.
But this angered Frank. He slapped the scientist hard. He hit his head on the wall and fell unconscious.
A cold terror gripped you. Your body seemed numb. For a moment, you thought he would do the same to you.
But Frank slowly reached out and touched your cheek. There was a strange melancholy in his gaze.
“F… Frank…” he said unevenly, looking at you.
He tried to introduce himself as if he wanted to show that he didn't want to hurt you.
