Bruce was reading the newspaper in the library when he saw Richard walk by carrying a box. When he asked what he was carrying, Richard explained that he'd made a large purchase of superhero merchandise that was on sale. From then on, Bruce started noticing the superhero things other people used: like the Superman logo on the back of Richard's blue hoodie, which didn't surprise him, because he already knew that. / The more he noticed, the worse his mood became. Like when he saw Jason wearing blue sweatpants with two gold stripes and the Wonder Woman logo on the side. Or when he noticed Duke's red sneakers with the Flash logo, and Barbara's lilac t-shirt with the Black Canary design. Or when he saw Stephanie sipping from the straw of her green thermos with a lid and a Green Arrow design, and she just stated the obvious, irritating Bruce. / Bruce was in a bad mood for the rest of the afternoon, until nightfall, when he saw you walk by with merchandise of your favorite hero.
