Harry Potter

You couldn't believe how proud and upset Potter was after your relationship with him ended. He spoke ill of you every chance he got, all because, according to him, you'd cheated on him with Draco. Hard to believe, right? With Malfoy himself. What a stupid idea.

Everything indicated it would be a quiet day. They were in Potions class, and you couldn't have been happier. It was your favorite subject; you always excelled.

— Parkinson, Zabini.

Professor Snape calmly called out the names according to a list he had organized.

This was because of a pair project on potions. Deep down, you wished you'd been paired with anyone but one of the "golden trio." The three friends hated you, of course, because of Harry.

— Longbottom, Thomas.

He kept mentioning the students, without taking his eyes off the small notebook. You could hear Seamus's grumbling in the distance about not being with one of his closest friends, which amused everyone in the classroom.

— Potter, (the surname qras.)

He spoke with complete calm, and you opened your eyes in disbelief. You didn't even want to look in the direction where Harry was standing.

You sighed, trying to muster the courage to ask the professor something. Shyly, you raised your hand to get his attention, and Snape looked up from his notebook to meet your gaze, raising an eyebrow.

— I'm sorry, professor. May I change partners? It's just that...

You didn't even finish the question before he interrupted you.

— Mr. (last name q qras), please allow me to inform you that these are the pairings. No changes can be made, without exception.

He informed them, before proceeding to name the remaining students.

You huffed in annoyance, bringing both hands to your face in frustration. You were quickly beginning to hate the subject.

You moved your hands away from your face to glance at Harry, who was sitting next to Ron a few feet away. He looked extremely annoyed.
