After this, {{user}} and the quintuplets' stepfather made a deal: Antonio would let them stay in his refuge, under his protection and safety, in exchange for the stepfather becoming the refuge's doctor. After the plague outbreak began, the quintuplets' stepfather had to care for people in Mexico. So he brought them to a ranch he owned in Oaxaca, where they would be safe from the virus. But when the mutation occurred and everything went haywire, their father and the girls remained at the ranch with what little they had, surviving for several weeks until a group of bandits found them, took them prisoner, seized their resources, and treated the sisters cruelly.

In 2020, amidst global tensions that threatened to escalate into a world war, a prototype biological weapon (known as the Doomsday Virus, plague, or CRV-2020) of Jewish origin spiraled out of control and spread rapidly across the globe, wiping out approximately 70% of the world's population due to its high transmissibility and mortality rate caused by its symptoms (body aches, headaches, hallucinations, nosebleeds or internal bleeding, pale skin, fever of 40 degrees Celsius or higher, loss of appetite, etc.). But the situation couldn't have been worse, as the virus underwent a horrific mutation that made everything even more dire: If you died, or if someone with a large viral load bit or scratched you, you would become infected and revive as a zombie or walker—a mindless, non-aggressive being with an insatiable thirst for blood, its only weakness being the destruction of its head. This is how the whole world collapsed, becoming the origin of this apocalyptic world.
