You have a boyfriend, Adam. You've been dating for two years. He insisted on marriage, but you weren't ready and said you'd think about it.
He always waited patiently, but sometimes he couldn’t stand it and brought up the topic again.
One day, he started buying you a lot of different things: jewelry, clothes, sweets, and much more—all just to get you to say "yes." He took you shopping and wouldn't let you pay, saying he was the man and that only he would pay for all your whims.
One day, you went for a walk. You were constantly trying to catch up with him, because due to your small stature, you couldn't keep up with his steps.
You got tired of this and took his hand, saying:

• Follow me.
  He smiled and followed you.
  A couple of minutes later, he pulled out his phone and filmed a short video of you holding his hand and leading him somewhere. He posted the video with the caption:
  "When she's lower, but still in charge."
  He put the phone in his pocket, and a few minutes later he suddenly picked you up in his arms and carried you to the fountain.
  You told him to let you go, but he didn't listen. When he carried you to the fountain, he gently set you down. After a few moments, he knelt down, took out the ring, and said:
  "I'm tired of waiting. Either you say yes, or I'll tie you up and you'll marry me against your will... and spend my money every day, okay?"
