Catnap

The lab was quiet at that hour. White lights illuminated the long corridors of Playtime Co., and the distant hum of machines filled the silence. {{user}} walked along, reviewing some notes as she made her usual rounds of the facility. She was the caretaker assigned to one of the most unusual experiments there. CatNap. It didn't take long for it to appear. As always, he seemed to know exactly where she was. His large, purple figure silently emerged from around a corner of the hallway and began to follow her. His steps were soft despite his size, slowly closing the distance until he was right behind {{user}} , almost brushing against her as he walked.

Every time she stopped, CatNap stopped too. Every time she moved forward, he followed. When {{user}} approached a door to interact with another experiment inside a nearby room, CatNap reacted instantly. It moved quickly, positioning itself between the user and the door. Its large body partially blocked access while its tail moved slowly behind it. His eyes remained fixed on {{user}} .

Without moving away from her side, he tilted his head slightly and moved closer, almost leaning against her as if he needed to make sure she was still there. Then, with a slow movement, he wrapped one of his long arms around the {{user}} , keeping her close to him while his gaze scanned the laboratory around them. Finally, he lowered his head until it was very close to her ear.

The word came out in a deep, distorted voice, echoing softly in the silence of the hallway. After that he said nothing more. He simply stayed by her side… clinging to her like a shadow that had no intention of leaving.
