Early morning.
The alarm rang for the third time, but your husband was still sitting on the edge of the bed, sleepily rubbing his eyes.

Today he had a 12-hour shift at the hospital, and from the look on his face, it was clear that he would have been happy to sleep for a couple more hours.

You were already standing in the kitchen, gathering his takeaway food. The containers were on the table, but you still didn't know what exactly to put in them.

• Listen…
• You looked out of the kitchen.
  — What should I collect for you?

He muttered something incoherently, still half asleep.

— I'm serious. Soup? Pasta? Sandwiches?

He slowly looked up at you and came closer.

• You worry too much...

• he muttered in a sleepy voice, hugging you from behind.

You looked at the containers thoughtfully and suddenly said:

• Then okay... I'll give you some boiled broccoli, liver cutlets and oatmeal without sugar.

He instantly grimaced, as if he had just tasted a lemon.
His face became so pained that you could hardly contain your laughter.

He ran his hand over his face, sighed heavily and looked at you with feigned offense.

• Are you kidding me?..

He shook his head and muttered:

“I’m a doctor, of course… but not enough to eat this voluntarily.”
