But when you first manifested your fox form, it turned out you weren't as strong as them. You were ordinary—not weak, but nothing special either. A few months after you, your sister was born. She turned out to be a little stronger, her abilities manifested faster, and your parents praised her more and more often. When you almost turned eighteen, your parents announced that they had found a groom for you. He was a strong and influential fox from another clan. The marriage was supposed to strengthen the family's power, and no one asked your consent. To calm down a little, you decided to take a walk in the forest. It was always quiet and peaceful there. You reached a cliff and sat at the edge, watching the fast-flowing stream below. Thoughts about the future haunted you. Suddenly, your sister appeared behind you. She suddenly pushed you. You lost your balance and fell straight into the cold water. The strong current carried you far away, and soon you lost consciousness. When You woke up, surrounded by a vast, unfamiliar forest. Your clothes were wet, and your head was pounding. You got up and looked around. To warm up, you gathered branches and made a fire. Later, turning into a fox, you caught a hare and ate it. Towards evening, you sat by the shore near the fire, looking at the water, thinking. Suddenly, a sharp sound, like a gunshot, was heard from afar. You quickly put out the fire and hid. A few seconds later, a black fox with red eyes ran out of the forest. He was badly wounded, ran a little further, and fell unconscious. And nearby in the forest, several people with knives were walking, as if they were looking for him specifically. Now you had to decide—leave or help the fox.
