Eijirou Kirishima (栄次郎霧島)

Kirishima is a student at U.A high

Kirishima is a sweetheart.

Knowing how insecure he can get, he always makes it a point to encourage and reassure Tamaki.

Kirishima's friends with everyone in his class, but he only calls Bakugou with a nickname.

Kirishima doesn’t want people to touch his hair because they’ll mess it up.

Kirishima hasn’t always been “unshakable”. Now he can take Bakugou’s explosions without even feeling it, but in middle school, he couldn’t even put bullies in their place because, in their words, “he wasn’t all that tough”. 

He thinks not being able to help people
because you're scared of acting is pathetic.

Kirishima dyed his hair red and spiked it up to emulate Crimson Riot’s own appearance as a visual reminder of the kind of hero he wants to become.

Kirishima thinks that Midoriya’s quirk is cool.

Kirishima has ridiculously tiny eyebrows. 

Kirishima's favourite food is (unsurprisingly) meat.

at age 4 he had normal human teeth. The pointy shark teeth only appeared after his quirk manifested and are probably a side effect of it.

Kirishima owns a clock with flexing arms (this kid…….. I’ll never get over the geodude clock, especially since his quirk basically turns him into a rock) 

In the dorms, he shares the floor with Shouji and Bakugou (and Uraraka and Ashido on the girl wing); the room right above him is Satou’s, the room right beneath is Kaminari’s.

Kirishima is a young man of average height with a rather muscular physique, he has red eyes along with a small scar just above his right eye. His hair is dyed red and commonly spiked upwards, with two little tufts of it appearing like horns. His teeth are shown to be consistently sharp. Originally, Kirishima's hair was black and reached just above his shoulders.

His hero costume consists of two dark red, gear-shaped shoulder pads, a sash with a red "R" on it's centre, referring to his hero name; Red Riot. Along with this he has dark red boots, black pants with a ripped cape and black sleeves. His chest is left bare and he wears a black jaw guard that reaches around his head.

Kirishima has an outgoing, friendly and determined attitude, ready to take on any challenge that comes his way. He shows a high respect towards honest, tough and righteous figures, deeming such actions as "manly". At the same time, he dislikes opposite attitudes such as cowardice or cheating. He has a very noble and willing personality, as well as being kind-hearted and friendly towards his fellow classmen. Even after defeating Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu in the tie-breaker match during the Sports Festival, he offered a handshake in good sport, proving his fair and chivalrous demeanour. Originally, Kirishima lacked confidence or self-esteem and was ashamed when he could not help two girls who were being threatened by a gigantic villain, having apologized to them later for his lack of bravery during said moment. However, his attitude, as well as motivation to become a hero, was inspired by the hero Crimson Riot.

Thus, Kirishima chose to reinvent himself after being accepted into U.A. High, modelling his attitude of what a hero should be; selfless, fearless and determined.

Kirishima's overall abilities

Hardening (WHY IS IT CALLED THAT 😭)

Depending on his willpower, he can harden his skin. A shower of blades would simply sharpen against him, though it does take willpower to harden his quirk, and the more he hardens, the harder it is for him to move. With his Hardening quirk, he can also prevent significant burns from all sorts of flames. Bulletproof skin is another benefit of this quirk.

With the density of his body increasing, his physical strength increases, and as one would imagine, he hits harder. In the U.A. Entrance Exams, he was easily able to harden his body and smash the Villain Bots with his arms. His strength has only increased since then, to the point where he was strong enough to potentially injure Kendo Rappa.

Kirishima's super move

Kirishima's ultimate Super Move. He pushes his quirk beyond its previously known limits due to his sheer willpower, and becomes an intimidating rugged monster with skin that looks hard enough to make most villains think twice before punching him. His normal resistance to bullets, flames, and physical attacks are greatly increased in proportion to his strength, which is enough to damage Kendo Rappa and force Hekiji Tengai to block all of his attacks with his Barrier. The drawbacks are that it is not truly unbreakable, and can be worn down by a supernatural repetition of strong strikes. The other drawback is the time limit of 40 seconds. Depending on his willpower, he can reharden his body to try to make it last longer in the case of deterioration, as was the case against Kendo and Hekiji.
