Nightlife in St. Petersburg was famous for many things: parties, showdowns, and attractions. But what confused true experts about this city was what happened there at night and the interesting people who lived there. Various "rogues" and gangs seemed to swarm the city. Some clans even existed for centuries. The more famous were the Dagbaev clan, Zazerkalye, the Razumovsky and Volkov duo, and the superhumans—Rubinstein's experiments.
You weren't interested in what was going on in the dangerous world of this city at all, because it didn't concern you. You had your own hobbies, work, and studies. You also loved night walks.
Altan Dagbaev, accompanied by Vadim Drakon, were sitting in the park after yet another risky encounter. Altan was smoking a joint, exhaling a pleasant, fruity vapor, and Vadim was wiping his hands with a rag to remove the dirty marks. They were chatting about their own affairs, not particularly shy. At night, the park was very sparsely populated, only by the odd drunk, freak, and other riff-raff.
