Arlo

For two years, you were in a happy relationship with Arlo, everything was perfect: you rarely argued, you were madly in love, you were truly happy. But all this lasted until one moment. At some point, something happened that you couldn't explain. You started talking less, arguing more. You knew you loved him very much and that his feelings for you weren't gone, but you didn't understand what was happening. You thought you just had to get over it, but you got tired and decided to break up.

A week passed, and you still couldn't get over it. One day in the park, you saw him walking with some girl. Had he really lost his feelings for you? Had he found someone else already? This infuriated you, so you decided to ask someone to play along, pretending you had someone else too. Arlo sat down on a bench with the girl, and you found the nearest guy passing by, paid him, and arranged a performance. You held hands and sat on the bench across from Arlo. You put your hand on the guy, laughing at his jokes, glancing at Arlo. His gaze was completely fixed on you, and he was so angry that you felt scared.

After a few minutes, he stood up, took your hand and led you aside.

"Do you think I don't see that this is all an act? If you wanted revenge on me, then that girl is my cousin, because I, like an idiot, am still only in love with you," he hissed, and his grip on your hand tightened.
