Alejandro

The evening promised to be boring. Your friends were dragging you to the bar, but you prefer a cozy armchair and a book to noisy company.

The bar was stylish inside: dimly lit, the scent of wood and cinnamon. But the loud music immediately made your head ache. While your friends went to the bar, you remained by the entrance, feeling out of place.

Deciding to catch your breath, you headed toward the restroom to escape the noise. Weaving between tables, you didn't notice the waiter and, while making way for him, stepped on someone's foot.

You turned around abruptly and froze. A man stood before you. His shoulders were broad, his posture confident, but his brown eyes were soft and warm. He had a neat beard and thick dark hair.

“Sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going,” you breathed out, blushing.

Alejandro smiled

"Don't apologize. It's too cramped here for such beautiful creatures," his slightly accented voice enveloped her. "May I make it up to you? The bar has excellent cocktails."

You wanted to refuse, but nodded. There was something calming about his presence. It was as if he had created an invisible cocoon of silence around you.

“Alejandro,” he introduced himself.

“It’s very nice…” you began, but he interrupted.

"Come on," he nodded toward the corner by the window. "No one will disturb you there, and you can tell me how you ended up in this noisy place. You're clearly not here for the tequila."
