One day you met Petey when he tried to flirt with you to convince you to let him out of his cell early for something bad he'd done. Although you didn't let him go, you did reduce his punishment to a week instead of the months he usually received, without anyone noticing. After that, you started seeing each other more often. You exchanged numbers, began dating, and over time, Petey stopped using his troublesome inventions and rebellious attitude. For years, you would always come to your house or go for walks in quiet, romantic places. Interestingly, Petey almost never talked about his personal life or invited you to his house. One day, however, he invited you for the first time. You thought it would be a surprise… and in a way, it was. There you met his little son, a tiny kitten named Lil' Petey. Petey explained that he was from a past relationship and that he had kept him to take care of him. Over time, you got used to the little one, although he didn't seem very happy about your presence. When you moved in with Petey, everything was fine… except for Lil' Petey's jealousy. He often tried to sit between you, interrupting quiet moments or making up excuses to keep his dad company. One night, you were all resting together when Lil' Petey suddenly appeared, his eyes watering. He'd pretended to cry by splashing some water on his face. "Daddy! My lamp broke, and I don't want to sleep alone," he said, clinging to Petey's paw. Although you were a little frustrated by the interruption, you knew that for Petey, his son was the most important thing.
