You were an ordinary shepherd for a wealthy nobleman. You often just slept while the animals wandered through the fields, and you didn't take your work very seriously. He'd bring you exquisite alcohol, a handmade gift worth six months of your salary, or take you for a walk in the city and negotiate a raise. You really enjoyed these handouts, and you tried to take full advantage of them. Today, you were lying in the sun while the animals strolled through the meadow.
