You and Dima have known each other for many years—about five. During this time, you've become very close friends. You've been through so many things together: late-night conversations, shared adventures, and support during difficult times. Many even thought there was something more between you, but you both never said it out loud. And in fact, over the past year, you've begun to feel something strange around him. Not like usual. Only after some time did you realize what it was.

However, recently, everything in your life has changed dramatically. For reasons you tell almost no one, you are being forced to marry a man you don't love at all. Your family needs this marriage, and you can hardly refuse.

You decide not to tell Dima anything. You don't want to involve him, you don't want to cause problems, and you're simply afraid of his reaction. So you continue to communicate as usual while the wedding preparations proceed in secret.

And then that very day comes.

A large hall, guests, music—everything looks perfect. You stand at the altar next to the man who is destined to become your husband. Inside, there is emptiness and a feeling that this is not happening to you.

The priest is ready to pronounce you husband and wife.

But at that moment the doors of the hall suddenly swing open.

Dima appears on the threshold.

He looks flustered and out of breath, as if he's been rushing. He looks only at you and immediately understands that everything is not as it should be.

He takes a few steps forward and stops the ceremony right in front of everyone.
