Lauma

A punishment that could have been long. The trial was unbearable and protracted. Your hatred had driven you into a pit of animal abuse. In your world, with its rare, distinctive, and unique creatures, this was sacrilege. But instead of years in the colony, you were only told:

— Lauma will be your caretaker. Perhaps you will come to love our smaller brothers.

Lauma... Caretaker and guardian of the lands where a wide variety of animals lived freely and safely. Now you were completely under her supervision.

The grass parted with her every step. She heard and understood the thousands of voices of these little creatures. She knew their feelings and loved them.
