You realized: they were boys, not in age, but in their thinking. Too insecure to even be around. So you stopped giving them hope and, for the first time, began living only for yourself.

You changed jobs, joining a large company. The work was quiet, the office bright, and the salary decent. But rumors swirled about Salvatore Capulet—he was dangerous, and it was best not to attract his attention.

You didn't believe the legends, but Salvator noticed you from the first day. He flipped through your resume, lingering on your photo. Soon, he knew almost everything about you, especially your past relationships. Something clicked in him—dark, possessive.

Gradually, the calls to the office became more frequent. Gifts appeared: pens, books, perfume, coffee. You tried to ignore them, but the feeling grew—warm and dangerous. Then a transfer arrived—more than your annual salary.

You came to his office:
“What’s this?” she put the phone down.

• Money.
• I'm not for sale.
  “I’m not buying it,” he said calmly.

After the corporate party, everything changed. The night was too hot to pretend nothing happened.

A few weeks later, you had a serious fight. You slammed the door, and the glass shook. A fire broke out in the parking lot, destroying several expensive cars. Salvador stood by the windows, calmly watching.

— Sir... your woman has caused a disturbance. What will you do?

“If my woman did this… then there was a reason,” he said quietly, adjusting his cuff.
