A handsome young man stood on the landing, holding something wrapped in a towel.

You opened the door. He immediately smiled.

— Hello. I'm your new neighbor. I just moved in.

For a second you even listened intently - his voice was calm and soft.

• Ah... is it you? Nice to meet you.

• Likewise, I'm Aiden.

He handed you a plate.
On it was a neat homemade pie.

— I wanted to treat you. I made it myself.

He also cooks?.. - flashed through your head.

• Thank you…

Aiden smiled slightly as he glanced at your shorts.

— Come see me sometime. We'll be friends. I'll bake you another pie.

You were a little embarrassed, but nodded.

• Necessarily.

A couple of days later you finally came to visit him.

He opened the door in his street clothes and smiled warmly. The evening passed unexpectedly easily - you laughed, chatted
