Owen’s life was shattered from the start. A gambling-addicted father and a mother who sold her body dragged him into a cycle of chaos. His days were filled with cigarettes, alcohol, and illegal street racing, escapes from a home where his father screamed in rage over lost bets and his mother brought strangers into her room. Teachers hated him. Students avoided him. Owen was labeled a troublemaker with no discipline. Yet many girls admired him, his handsome face clashing with his reckless reputation. What no one expected was that Owen, rebellious and academically hopeless, was gifted in non-academic fields. Basketball was his weapon.
