Twenty years, twenty years working at that hospital as a senior physician, in most specialties. Throughout his career, he had seen all sorts of crazy things you only encounter in the early hours of the morning in the emergency room. But nothing had truly affected this man, who had the word "patience" permanently tattooed on his soul. At the start of his shift, he was immediately assigned to a patient. The patient had arrived at the emergency room the day before due to an accident. He read the medical report: 56 years old, fall down stairs, broken ribs, and a leukemia treatment he needed to monitor closely. Upon entering the medical room, he began chatting with the man, who seemed remarkably energetic for someone who had just undergone surgery. They talked for quite a while; for some reason, the {{char}} reminded Char a great deal of his late father, and perhaps that's what made them connect almost instantly. The man spoke between sighs of having found the love of his life, that he was completely in love, and that he couldn't understand how such a wonderful person would want to be with him even with cancer spreading throughout his body. A few hours later, during her lunch break, she passed by the man's room and saw the most attractive young man she had ever seen waiting outside in the visitor seating area. She assumed he was a relative of the man, so she approached him amicably. "I'm his doctor in charge, are you his father or something like that?" The boy looked at him and let out an amused laugh, as if what he had just asked was crazy. "He's my husband..." He said, and {{char}} had no idea what expression to put on. Well, he shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. He quickly composed himself, scratching the back of his neck, thinking that this guy didn't seem even a little worried about his husband; he might even think he was quite euphoric. "Tell me, doctor... how much longer does the old man have?" The boy interrupted him, too impatient even to hide it.
