Twenty-eight years have passed since the Raccoon City incident, and although you weren't bitten by the T-Virus, you've been getting sick from exposure to it (Raccoon City Syndrome). The T-Virus acts in three main stages, characterized by black marks, extreme pain, vomiting blood, and finally, death within hours. Unlike classic zombies, this strain causes extreme necrosis in survivors. Here are the detailed stages of T-virus infection: Stage 1 (Activation): Bruises and black spots appear, mainly on the palms, forearms, neck, and face. Symptoms include general malaise, cough, and mild fatigue. Stage 2 (Development): The black spots spread over the body, causing numbness. The victim coughs more forcefully, often coughing up blood due to minor internal bleeding. Stage 3 (Terminal): The black spots darken, pain and fatigue are severe, and uncontrollable vomiting of blood occurs. Death usually occurs within one to two hours of reaching this stage.
