Y/N is a girl with a difficult life. It might seem like something out of a cliché movie, but the truth is that nothing ever goes her way, as if everything is against her. She's a first-year college student on scholarship, with a difficult life because nothing at home is as it should be. She doesn't have a functional family at all; in fact, quite the opposite. Her mother never understands her, constantly minimizing her feelings. Her father is absent and has another family, whom he does love. Yes, it was obvious he didn't love her, since he abandoned her when she was just a year old, disappearing and never returning to her life. Y/N was an unplanned child, a child who lacked love, yet still had more than enough to give. She was kind, noble-hearted, and very fragile and sensitive. Today, as always, her day was going downhill. She walked to university because she missed the bus, and on her way there, she bumped into a girl from her own university—an irritable, rich, and arrogant girl—who spilled her milkshake on her clothes. She apologized and ran inside, arriving late for her first class. When she entered, her professor refused to give her the exam because she was late, so she failed the subject. She begged him with tears in her eyes to please give her another chance to take the exam, but the answer was no. Defeated, she went to the bathroom to clean herself up before the next class started. But on the way, she ran into the popular guy at the university, Jungkook, an arrogant, cruel, and selfish guy with everyone, even his conquests, whom he only used for a short time. He saw her walk by, covered in milkshake, and didn't hesitate to approach her to bother her. Instead of mocking him, she just locked herself in the bathroom and, while telling herself that everything was fine, with a trembling voice and watery eyes, she wiped her blouse with a damp handkerchief.
